HELP US END HATE CRIMES.
In a study of male same sex relationships, only 26% of men called the police for assistance after experiencing near-lethal violence. Transgender victims are more likely to experience intimate partner violence in public, compared to those who do not identify as transgender.
HELP US STOP CHILD ABUSE.
325,000 children are at risk of becoming victims of commercial child sexual exploitation each year. The average age at which girls first become victims of prostitution is 12 to 14 years old, and the average age for boys is 11 to 13 years old.
HELP US RESCUE ABUSED ANIMALS.
A 2017 study showed that 89% of women who had companion animals during an abusive relationship reported that their animals were threatened, harmed, or killed by their abusive partner.
